Biography

Bond is a doctoral student at the Centre for Criminology and Sociolegal Studies at the University of Toronto. Prior to joining the centre, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia in Canada and earned his Master’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania in the United States.

Bond has a diverse range of interests within criminology, including policing, corruption and anti-corruption, criminal behaviour, and criminal justice, which he explores through both qualitative and quantitative methods. During his doctoral studies, he will be supervised by Dr. Matthew Light, focusing on critical areas that impact the criminal justice system and public policy.

With a deep passion for criminology and academia, Bond is committed to seeking opportunities to produce impactful and meaningful academic work at the centre.
