Lauren is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, but has called a number of cities around the world home. Prior to arriving at the University of Toronto, she worked for several years in policy and campaigning across a variety of issue areas, including healthcare equity, international aid, and political elections. In her most recent role, she was a campaign lead for Cancer Research UK, the world’s largest cancer charity. Consequently, she is incredibly interested in the intersection between research, policy, and community engagement.
