CrimSL welcomes incoming graduate students at orientation event

CrimSL proudly welcomed our new MA and PhD students at the 2024 Graduate Student Orientation on September 4th. Twenty-six MA students and three PhD students were admitted this year.

The day began with an informal "Meet and Greet" with refreshments in the Centre Lounge before moving down to the Criminology Library where attendees heard from CrimSL Director, Professor Kamari Clarke, and Graduate Coordinator, Professor Beatrice Jauregui.

At mid-day, returning graduate students and CrimSL faculty and staff joined in welcoming our new graduate students over a delicious lunch in the Centre Lounge.

The lunch was followed by a closed Graduate Student Discussion for the new students led by Lisa Ariemma, Lauren Borders, and Kadija Osei, CrimSL PhD students.
