Professor Matthew Light shared his expertise on Canada’s role in the Ukraine war at the Halbert Centre for Canadian Studies at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem on July 15, 2024.
His presentation, "Canada and the Invasion of Ukraine: New Challenges, Difficult Choices," was attended by a group of international relations students and faculty, as well as Signe Katz of the Canadian Embassy in Tel Aviv.
Professor Light also gave a presentation entitled "Policing Urban Disorder in Transitional Democracies: the Case of Ukraine" to the Institute of Criminology of Hebrew University on July 24, 2024.
He is currently a visiting scholar at the Institute of Criminology, Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
