Professor Kamari Clarke appointed CrimSL Acting Director from December 7 to December 31, 2023

Professor Kamari Clarke has been appointed Acting Director of the Centre for Criminology & Sociolegal Studies as of December 7, 2023 until December 31, 2023 and will transition to the Directorship as of January 1, 2024.

Melanie Woodin, Dean, Faculty of Arts & Science, marked the transition with the following announcement: "I would like to take this opportunity to thank Professor Matthew Light who has been the Interim Director of the Centre since July 1, 2023.  Please join me in welcoming Professor Clarke to her new role."  

As previously announced, Clarke will serve as incoming Director of the Centre for Criminology and Sociolegal Studies effective January 1, 2024, until December 31, 2028.
