Congratulations to Professor Kamari Clarke on securing a major grant from the Mellon Foundation with Professor Kevin Lewis O’Neill of the Centre for Diaspora and Transnational Studies.
The grant, which provides up to a total of $225,000 USD, will be put towards the 2023 Sawyer Seminar, entitled “Evasion: Thinking the Underside of Surveillance,” and will provide support for a year of workshops and events programming, as well as a postdoctoral fellow, an author-in-residence, and funding support for graduate students.
